Altar & Rosary Society

Mission/Purpose/Activity

The Altar and Rosary Society helps to maintain  the altar materials as well as participates in other parish activities. Members may take part in maintaining altar linens by washing and ironing them or replacing worn items. Members also wash the holy vessels (chalices and ciboria) weekly. The Society runs the dessert booth at the annual Fall Festival and takes part in Holy Week activities.

Qualities Needed

Open to all the ladies of the parish with a desire to contribute to the upkeep of our church. 

Time Required

Varies based on how much time people feel they can contribute to the various activities.
The group meets once a month on the second Saturday, where we begin by reciting the Rosary.
